Experience Luna Escondida
Tucked fifteen minutes from the cobblestone heart of San Miguel de Allende, Luna Escondida is a breathtaking private ranch estate that has earned its place among the most celebrated luxury wedding venues in all of Mexico. Featured in Vogue, Elle, The Lane, and Brides Today, and named a favorite among Indian-American couples for its extraordinary ability to host multi-day South Asian wedding celebrations, Luna Escondida is a living work of art rooted in heritage, nature, and refined Mexican luxury. The estate takes its name to heart: a hidden moon, concealed from the outside world, known only to those invited in. Its architecture weaves French elegance, Southwestern warmth, and Mexican colonial tradition into a seamless landscape of lush gardens, vine-covered pathways, a glass-walled conservatory, ancient trees, and a serene private lake. Every corner has been curated by its owners with a personal devotion to beauty, meaning, and the art of celebration.
Luna Escondida is not a hotel in the traditional sense. The estate is offered exclusively to event holders as a complete buyout, meaning the entire property, including all three privately designed villas, all three event venues, and all outdoor spaces, belongs solely to the couple and their guests for the duration of their stay. Villa Andrea, a French-inspired 3-bedroom retreat sleeping 8; Villa Alexandria, a grand Southwestern 5-bedroom sanctuary sleeping 10; and Villa Valentina, a colonial Mexican hacienda-style 4-bedroom home sleeping 8, together accommodate up to 26 guests on-site. For larger wedding parties, the estate partners with nearby luxury hotels including Rosewood San Miguel de Allende and Hotel Numu, just 15 minutes away. A private helipad on the estate allows for dramatic arrivals, and valet parking and accessible facilities are available throughout the grounds.
What makes Luna Escondida singular for South Asian weddings is its expansive outdoor space, its flexibility across multi-day formats, and its deep reverence for ceremony and cultural meaning. The estate's landscape easily accommodates a Sangeet under the stars at the Grand Stables, a Mehndi gathering in the Jardin Colibrí, and a grand ceremony and reception in the Hummingbird Garden and Luna Event Hall, all within the same intimate and exclusive property. Farm-to-table menus crafted by recommended chefs draw from the estate's own organic gardens, and activities including horseback riding, yoga, artisan workshops, and curated cultural experiences in San Miguel can be arranged throughout the celebration weekend.
